Dometic Promotes Trigg

Dometic Group promoted Ned Trigg to Executive Vice President of Dometic’s Marine division. In his new role, Trigg will be the business leader for the Marine OEM and Aftermarket divisions for the Americas region. Leisure products supplier for the RV, Marine and CPV (Commercial and Passenger Vehicle) markets, Dometic Group, has acquired Livos Technologies Inc., a provider of engine room ventilation equipment and systems for the commercial and pleasure boat markets. “Livos Technologies is an innovative provider of engine room ventilation, and we are delighted to be able to bring it under our umbrella,” said Frank Marciano, President, Dometic Americas. “This acquisition reinforces Dometic’s status as a leading global provider of marine HVAC systems, sanitation systems, electronics and galley equipment.

Dometic Marine Partners with Livos

Dometic to offer Livos machinery ventilation equipment to its yacht and workboat customers,  providing them with a single source for their air conditioning and ventilation needs. Dometic Marine, a division of Dometic Group, a global provider of leisure products for the RV, Marine and CPV (Commercial and Passenger Vehicle) markets, today announced that it has entered a strategic partnership with Livos Technologies Inc., a provider of engine room ventilation equipment and systems for the commercial and pleasure boat markets. Under the agreement, Dometic will become a reseller of Livos Technologies’ axial fans, centrifugal blowers, smoke and fire dampers, mist-eliminating grilles, and electronic fan controls.

Dometic Group Announces Global Reorganization

Formerly President of Dometic Marine, Frank Marciano has been appointed President of Dometic Americas for all divisions after Dometic Group announced a global reorganization and restructuring. The new management and business structure was enacted by the company’s global CEO, Roger Johansson, and was effective from February 1. Marciano, who is based at the Marine headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida, is a 22-year employee of Dometic. The marine business continues to be an important part of his new role.

Dometic’s New Line of Workboat AC Units

Dometic today unveiled a new series of marine air conditioning units designed specifically for the requirements of offshore supply vessels and other workboats. The new Dometic DuraSea condensing units are designed for deck or rooftop mounting. The stainless-steel 304 housing and fasteners protect the components from corrosion in the salt-air environment. All exposed components have a protective coating. Optional mounting risers are available to elevate the unit above the deck to facilitate water drainage and protect the coil from debris and salt water.

Taylor Made Debuts New Series of Air Conditions

Taylor Made Environmental has announced a family of redesigned compact, lightweight, high-efficiency marine air conditioning systems. The new self-contained seawater-cooled units are being sold under the Cruisair and Marine Air Systems brand names. Available in 5,000, 7,000, 10,000, 12,000 and 16,000 BTU capacities, the systems have been re-engineered with new compressors and evaporator coils, resulting in smaller size, lower weight, reduced amperage draw and improved reliability. According to Frank Marciano, president of Taylor Made Environmental, the new-design packaging applies to Marine Air Systems patented Vector Compact and Cool Mate series products, and Cruisair StowAway Compact (SXF) and Zephyr models.
