OPEC+ Prepares for 2024 Demand Uncertainty

Speaking after the November 30 OPEC+ meeting, Ann-Louise Hittle, vice president, Macro Oils, at Wood Mackenzie, said: “The decision by OPEC+ to continue with its previously announced production cuts and Saudi/Russia to extend their voluntary production cuts to the end of Q1 2024 is not a surprise, given current pricing and the uncertainty in the market over the strength of the global economy and oil demand growth. Asia Gets Most of Russian Dark Fuels after EU Embargo

Asian countries remain the lead destinations for Russian vacuum gasoil (VGO) and fuel oil exports after the European Union's embargo, traders said and Refinitiv data showed. Iranian Fuel Oil Exports Trade Skirts Sanctions

Iran is sidestepping Western sanctions and managing to sell hundreds of thousands of tonnes of fuel oil every month through companies based in the U.S.-allied United Arab Emirates, trading sources told Reuters. Russian Oil Exports Plummet

Russian seaborne fuel oil exports from the main Black Sea and Baltic ports fell by 43 percent in October from the previous month, shipping inspector Petrak said.
