RoadOne IntermodaLogistics has announced that the company is celebrating its first anniversary. RoadOne was launched one year ago to deliver integrated, single source transportation and logistics solutions to meet today’s economic and market challenges. Within this year, RoadOne has expanded its national intermodal network with a new agent-based model under the U.S. IntermodaLogistics name and strengthened its partnership with E*Fill America to deliver extensive warehousing and fulfillment services throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Craig E. Philip, Chief Executive Officer, Ingram Barge Company, today announced several changes and promotions for the Marine Group. Dave O’Loughlin has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Vessel Operations and Strategic Sourcing, reporting to Kaj Shah, President, Ingram Barge Company. Mr. O’Loughlin will head up vessel operations and oversee a strategic sourcing team comprised of the external services and purchasing departments. Ingram Barge Company today completed its acquisition of U.S. United Barge Line, LLC (“UBL”), a barge transportation company headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The proposed transaction was announced on April 19 and, following the receipt of necessary government approval and satisfaction of other closing conditions, Ingram officials said today they had finalized the sale and that the process of integrating the UBL business will begin immediately. Approximately 300 UBL associates will join Ingram, and 17 towboats and some 650 barges will be added to the Ingram fleet. Orrin H. United Maritime Group, LLC Announces Agreement to Sell U.S. United Barge Line, LLC to Ingram Barge Company. United Maritime Group, LLC ("UMG") today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell U.S. United Barge Line, LLC ("UBL"), a wholly owned barge transportation subsidiary of UMG, to Ingram Barge Company. Based in Tampa, the subsidiaries of UMG operate businesses in the dry bulk transportation and logistics industry, including U.S. United Bulk Terminal, LLC, the largest coal and petroleum coke handling facility in the Gulf of Mexico, and U.S. United Ocean Services, LLC, which operates the largest Jones Act dry bulk ocean fleet by capacity.

(NYSE: R) has signed a joint venture (JV) partnership with Cargo Services Far East Limited (CSFE), an Asia-based logistics solutions provider specializing in export consolidation services. The combined capabilities of the companies will create a comprehensive, end-to-end service offering, with full geographic coverage throughout Asia, for North American retailers and other companies importing from Asia. Operating as Ryder Supply Chain Solutions Asia, the solution will provide Vendor and Purchase Order Management, Inland Transport Services, Export Consolidation and Order Fulfillment Services, including Distribution Center Bypass and Store-Ready Pallet Construction from Asia to North America.
