Lake Assault Boats said it has delivered a 34-foot fireboat to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire in Pittsburgh, Penn. The vessel is the departmentâs first new dedicated fireboat since 1974. The new fireboat, named after Pittsburghâs first female mayor, Sophie Masloff, who passed away in 2014, was dedicated on October 27. Lake Assault to Build Pittsburgh Fireboat
Lake Assault Boats, a leading manufacturer of purpose-built and mission-specific fire and rescue boats, has been chosen to construct a 34-foot fireboat by the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire in Pittsburgh, PA. The fireboat will respond to emergencies and help manage fires on waterways, waterfronts, rail lines, and marinas that lie along the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers, which join together in Pittsburgh to form the Ohio River. The contract is valued at more than $540,000. NJ State Police Take Delivery of Moose Boat
Moose Boats delivers M1-44 Patrol Boat to NJ State Police. Moose Boats, an aluminum boat manufacturer, recently delivered a M1-44â Catamaran to the New Jersey State Police in Point Pleasant, NJ. The M1-44â is an all aluminum catamaran powered by twin 600hp Cummins diesel engines coupled to twin Hamilton 322 water-jets with Hamilton Blue Arrow Controls and a hydraulically driven fire fighting system with a remote control bow monitor rated for 750 GPM pumping. The M1-44 will serve as a regional marine fire-fighting asset throughout Southern NJ.
