Boluda Towage Acquires Caledonian

Boluda Towage and GEG (Holdings) Ltd have signed an agreement for Boluda to acquire Caledonian’s towage activities and marine operations, together with the management, office staff and crew, based in Invergordon, Scotland.After the official closing of the transaction, Caledonian will be part of Boluda Towage’s organization in the United Kingdom. Large Offshore Wind Tower Manufacturing Plant to be Built at Port of Nigg, UK

Global Energy Group (“GEG”), the Scottish-based energy services company has agreed on terms with offshore wind tower manufacturing specialist, Haizea Wind Group (“Haizea”), to build a £110m-plus (~$146 million) offshore wind tubular rolling facility at Port of Nigg, located in the Scottish Highlands. GEG, Proman to Build Renewables-to-Methanol Plant at Nigg Oil Terminal

UK-based Global Energy Group and Swiss-based integrated energy company, Proman have partnered up to develop a renewable power to methanol plant using local sources of captured CO2 to be located at the Nigg Oil Terminal in the Highlands of Scotland.GEG is also the owner of the Nigg Oil Terminal and Proman is the second-largest methanol producer in the world-GEG said that the development of an industrial-scale renewable power to methanol production facility with CO2 to be provided from local industrial sources will be known as the “Cromarty Clean Fuels Project“.

GEG to Power Port of Nigg Facilities with Green Hydrogen

Greene’s Energy Group (GEG) promoted Stuart LeBlanc to Northern Regional Manager for the Testing and Services business unit locations in Imperial and Towanda, Pa., said President Eric Langlinais.  LeBlanc will oversee the day-to-day operations for Imperial and Towanda as well as the oversight of GEG locations in North Dakota and Wyoming. Prior to his new role, LeBlanc was the Regional Manager covering the Gulf Coast operations. Greene’s Energy Group (GEG) named David Lang as Mid-Continent Regional Manager for the Testing and Services business unit, announced President Eric Langlinais. Based in Lafayette, La., Lang will provide leadership, direction and operational support to the facility managers in the Bossier City, La.; Kilgore, Texas; Ardmore and Weatherford, Okla.; Ft. Smith and Conway, Ark.; and Dodge City, Kan. facilities. Prior to his new role, Lang was Store Manager for Eagle Oilfield Services, a subsidiary of Greene’s Energy Group.

Greene’s Energy Group (GEG), a provider of integrated testing, rentals and specialty services, has promoted Blayne Prejean to Operations Manager of Cherokee Services, a division of Greene’s Energy Group, announced President Eric Langlinais. Based in Lafayette, Prejean will report to General Manager Todd Naquin and will oversee day-to-day operations including project logistics, equipment rental inventory and personnel.
