Ten Terex TFC 45 H Reach Stackers Delivered to Benin
Terex Port Solutions (TPS) delivered ten Terex TFC 45 H reach stackers to Benin. The machines were put into operation in March 2016 by Société Béninoise des Manutentions Portuaires (SOBEMAP). With the robust reach stackers, the state-owned port operator will further accelerate its container handling in the West African country’s most important economic center, Cotonou. SOBEMAP, who ordered the reach stackers via the TPS distributor SOLOMAT based in Marseille, France, is responsible for all handling operations in the Port of Cotonou. The customer already operated eight TFC 45 H reach stackers, four of their own and four rented, which they acquired between 2006 and 2008.
Terex Port Solutions Supplies Model2 Harbor Crane To Fjordbase
Terex Port Solutions (TPS) recently supplied Norwegian company, Saga Fjordbase AS, with a diesel-electric Terex® Gottwald Model 2 harbor crane, G HMK 2304 variant. Saga Fjordbase, a subsidiary of the Norwegian INC Group, started operating the crane in February 2014 at its Florø terminal. The Port of Florø lies on the Norwegian coast around 150 km north of Bergen. Saga Fjordbase AS is a Service base for the oil industry. ”We are very pleased to welcome Saga Fjordbase as a new customer. This terminal operator opted for our Model 2 mobile harbor crane after weighing the alternatives,” reported Giuseppe Di Lisa, Vice President Sales & Service at Terex Port Solutions.
