InterMoor Wins Contract with LLOG in Gulf of Mexico

InterMoor, an Acteon company, has won a contract for design, fabrication and installation of 12 suction pile anchors, preset installation of 12 chain/polyester/chain mooring lines and hook-up of the LLOG Delta House production semi-submersible (the Floating Production System “FPS”). The work will be conducted in the Mississippi Canyon 254 block of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The project will involve suction pile design, fabrication and installation, followed by preset mooring installation and pre-set mooring hook-up of the FPS. The 12 piles will be 85 ft. long and 16 ft.

Spar Hull Installation Contract for McDermott

McDermott awarded Gulf of Mexico Spar hull installation contract for Williams Partners. McDermott International, Inc. announce that one of its subsidiaries has been awarded a contract by Williams Partners L.P. for transportation and installation services for a Spar hull in the Gulf of Mexico. McDermott will transport and install the Gulfstar FPS GS-1 Spar hull and moorings. Located approximately 150 miles offshore, the Spar platform is destined for the Gulf of Mexico’s Mississippi Canyon and will sit in approximately 4,200 feet of water. McDermott’s recently improved DB50 vessel will install the moorings before transporting the classic-design Spar hull to the installation site where it will be upended and ballasted before installing a temporary work deck.

Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. Contracts on 3 New Projects

Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. GIFI +1.89%announced, that through its subsidiary Gulf Island, LLC, it has signed contracts for the fabrication of three new projects totaling $125mn and approximately 1.2 million man-hours which will be included in the company's consolidated backlog when the company announces its earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011. The three contracts are for: -- A 320 feet long by 160 feet wide dry dock awarded by the Terrebonne Port Commission for the LaShip project. -- A 6,200 ton Process Module for ATP Oil & Gas Corporation's Cheviot project managed through Bluewater Industries. -- A 7,000 ton topsides for Williams Partners' proprietary floating-production system, Gulfstar FPS(TM).
