KPI OceanConnect Appoints Regional Leaders

Marine energy provider KPI OceanConnect has announced a new management structure and key regional appointments to support the delivery of its partnership approach for customers.The new structure will see the leadership of its trading business divided into regions covering APAC, EMEA, and Americas. New regional leads have been promoted from KPI OceanConnect’s existing management team. Thomas Lee is promoted to Head of APAC, and James Enston to Head of EMEA.Brian Coyne will continue in his current role as Head of Americas.

IBIA Celebrates 23th Annual Dinner

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has appointed three new members to its Management Board and one new member to the IBIA in Africa Board. The appointments were announced at the Association’s 23th annual dinner, which was held on February 8 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London. Heralding the beginning of International Petroleum week, the prestigious event attracted a record number of attendees, with over 1100 bunker industry professionals at the dinner, despite the gloomy state of the industry.

Dan-Bunkering Reports Increased Profits

Dan-Bunkering, with 13 offices positioned in nine countries around the world, announced it can this year present a very satisfactory result for the financial year 2014/15. The Dan-Bunkering Group has achieved a profit before tax of $16.4 million and a prosperity in gross profit of 11 percent compared with last year’s results. Dan-Bunkering Opens Office in Aalborg

A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd. Appoints New Sales Manager

Supplier of bunker fuels, A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd., has appointed Bunker Trader Jim Jensen from the office in Copenhagen to Sales Manager. The Danish owned company already has offices in Denmark, China, Russia, Singapore and Monaco, and will shortly open their latest addition to the Dan-Bunkering group in Houston (Texas) USA. Jim will in connection with his promotion be a part of the new office in Houston, and will start up the office together with Managing Director Hans Lind Dollerup.
