The Seaview mounting options currently available for the new Intellian i5 satellite dome are listed below. Seaview’s Modular Vertical Mounts have a small mounting base and is the perfect solution with limited space. There are many accessories available for this mount such as light bars, spreader kits and wedges.

MarineNav Debuts Rack Mount Computers Range

MarineNav has launched a new range of rack mounted computers, available now in Europe through distributor Eurotask. The X1 Standard and X1 Fanless rack mounted computers are designed for use in commercial vessels, workboats, superyachts and specialist hydrographic and research vessels. Comark to Exhibit at Intelligent Ships Symposium

Comark’s New Display Passes Shock Testing

Comark, a designer and manufacturer of rugged computer and display solutions for the marine and military markets, has completed full environmental testing of its new 15” Military HMI, including MIL-901D Grade A lightweight shock testing. The 15” HMI is a sealed and fanless computer display unit developed for DDG 51 Machinery Control Applications. As with all Comark products, this new 15” HMI is designed with the latest technology, including current Core i5 processors, an LED backlit display, a rugged IR touchscreen, and integrated speaker.

Comark’s Shipboard Applications Display Passes MIL-STD-901D Shock Testing

Comark Corporation completed full environmental testing of its latest version of the MDU19PC ruggedized COTS computer including MIL-901D grade-A lightweight shock test. The MDU19PC is an all-in-one display and computer designed and tested to meet military requirements for shipboard applications including propulsion, machinery control and ECDIS navigation. The panel is NEMA 4 rated when panel mounted and is available with an array of options including touchscreen, Intel 2nd generation core i5 or i7 processing, speakers and optional front access USB ports.

Comark Receives ABS Type Approval

 47” Series of MDU Marine Display

Comark Corporation, a leader in the design and manufacture of ruggedized computer solutions for the marine, military, and commercial markets, has received Type Approval on their 47” Series of MDU Marine Displays from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). Type Approval is given to products for marine and offshore applications that are designed and tested, and can be consistently manufactured, to meet IEC 60945 Standards for Maritime Navigation and Radio Communication Equipment and Systems.

AR Engineering Debuts New Computer

AR Engineering unveiled its newest marine computer designed for the latest software from MaxSea and Nobeltec. The Advantage TZ has Intel core I5 processors and a video card with 512MB of video RAM. This Nobeltec and MaxSea recommended card optimizes graphic intensive programs such as Nobeltec Trident and MaxSea TimeZero. This is the only high performance, fanless marine computer capable of running commercial versions of MaxSea such as TimeZero Plot. Discrete video cards enhance the video performance of the computer considerably compared to integrated video.
