Imtech Marine Opens Office in New Delhi

Imtech Marine opened a new office in New Delhi, giving it a foothold in India’s fast growing maritime industry and will further increase its reach in South-East Asia. Imtech Marine India Pvt Ltd. is an approved supplier for the Indian Navy regarding HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Airconditioning) and Fire Fighting systems, but it presently also works on various projects of the Indian Navy for the supply of HVAC/NBC equipment, Fire Fighting systems and Chilled Water Plants. All these projects are in the bidding stage. "We see the Indian maritime industry as a growing market with a lot of potential. Right now the starting focus is on offering HVAC capabilities and solutions to the Indian navy.

Imtech Marine Targets Doubling Revenue

Imtech Marine (the marine division of technical services provider Imtech) announced its new 2011 - 2015 growth strategy. Imtech Marine targets to double its revenue up to one billion euro in 2015. Growth will be achieved by organic growth and by means of acquisitions. Imtech Marine Group Service Office in Florida

Imtech Schiffbau-/Dockbau-technik, headquartered in Hamburg/Germany, will open a new Service Branch Office in May 2010. The branch will offer the full range of mechanical Imtech services, e.g. HVAC conversions, maintenance, and spare parts. Refurbishments for chillers and compressors will be done in Imtech’s own workshop. The office will be located in the Ft. Queen Elizabeth Class Carriers Use Imtech

Imtech has been awarded a design & build contract for the high-tech climate technology aboard the new Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers being built for the British Royal Navy. The order represents a value of more than about $187m. The ships, which are 918.6 ft long, are the largest naval ships ever to be built in the UK. The two aircraft carriers are about 65,000 tons each, a size between the American Nimitz class and the French Charles de Gaulle class. The high-tech design and build order is a direct order from Babcock Marine, a member of the Aircraft Carrier Alliance.

Imtech Orders Total $64 M

Imtech recently received orders from numerous ship owners and German shipyards for technological solutions on board several German yachts and cruise ships, totaling $64 million. Imtech operates three maritime competence centers: Imtech Marine & Offshore in the Netherlands (Rotterdam), Imtech Schiffbau-/Dockbautechnik in Germany (Hamburg), and HST (HDW-Hagenuk Schiffstechnik) in Germany (Hamburg, Kiel and Bremerhaven). Imtech's package of services includes integrated and automated ship's bridges, sustainable electrical drives, alarm and monitoring systems, navigation and communications systems, advanced heating, ventilation and air conditioning, fire security, sprinkler technology and integral safety.

Imtech Gets Orders for $64M

Imtech received orders from numerous ship owners and German shipyards for technological solutions on board several German yachts and cruise ships. These orders are worth a total of over $64. In the second half of 2005, Imtech has seen the maritime market segment for luxury yachts and cruise ships pick up in a number of European countries. Especially Germany has undergone a positive market development. Imtech a very strong player in this segment in Europe. From Imtech's three maritime competence centres, intensive co-operation is giving rise to fully sustainable technological solutions with a competitive integral cost price in both yachts and cruise ships.
