EnerSys Energy Products, Inc., Warrensburg, Mo., is being awarded a $17,816,784 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the design and construction of submarine valve regulated lead acid class batteries and associated parts and engineering support. This contract is for the procurement of replacement back-up batteries for in-service nuclear submarines. Work will be performed in Warrensburg, Mo., and is expected to be completed by October 2012.
