2H Offshore Inc., an Acteon company, has named Glen Jewell and Hanh Ha as additional directors of its London office. The roles came into effect at the start of 2013. Jewell and Ha will join John McGrail and Alex Rimmer and will share responsibility for the management of the engineering activities and the continued success and development of the business. Ha’s primary activity sector will be flexible riser, flowline and umbilical engineering, and Jewell’s focus will be drilling and production risers and conductor systems.

Katy Crawford, who is employed by offshore lifting and mechanical handling services company Sparrows, has been chosen to receive the Raising the Profile of the Profession – Promoting Engineering to Primary Students award from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). Nick Pearson has joined FBM Babcock Marine from Three Quays Marine Services where he was business development manager.
