OFCO Buys Seven Offshore Support Vessels

Offshore Support and Logistics Services Company (OFCO – Offshore International), the integrated maritime logistics service provider that is jointly owned by Allianz Marine & Logistics Services (AMLS) and SAFEEN, Abu Dhabi Ports’ marine services arm, announced it has acquired seven offshore support vessels, including four anchor handling tugs, a 65-meter landing craft, as well as a supply ship and multipurpose safety standby vessel.Officially launched in January 2021, OFCO provides onshore and offshore integrated logistics solutions, and subsea services.

Abu Dhabi Ports, Allianz Marine form Offshore Logistics JV

DP World Acquires Ukraine's TIS Terminal

Marine cargo handling company DP World has agreed to acquire a majority 51% stake in TIS Container Terminal in the Port of Yuzhny, Ukraine, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, including regulatory approval."Bringing the TIS Container Terminal into DP World's global network of ports, economic zones, warehousing, and inland logistics solutions will strengthen its position as the market-leading terminal of Ukraine," said a press release from the global supply chain solutions company.The latest acquisition also complements the existing operations of DP World's P&O Maritime Services business through a joint venture with TIS Group…

Dubai Port Raises Stake in Australian Port

Dubai-based port operator DP World says it has acquired additional assets in DP World Australia (DPWA), giving the firm a majority stake in its Australian terminals.The percentage of what has been acquired from Gateway Infrastructure Investments and other financial investors is still being finalized and subject to regulatory approval. However, it valued DPWA at an enterprise value of approximately AU$1.4 billion (US$ 997 million).Following the closure of the transaction, DP World Australia will become a consolidated entity within the DP World Group and is expected to be earnings neutral in the first full year of ownership. CEVA Logistics Acquires CMA CGM Log

CMA CGM is selling its freight management company CMA CGM Log for $105 million to the Swiss company CEVA Logistics. Recently CMA CGM has acquired a 30% stake in Ceva Logistic. CEVA will remain an independent and standalone listed company. DP World Acquires India's Continental Warehousing

Hindustan Infralog (HIPL), a joint venture between DP World and the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), announced that the transaction to acquire 90% stake in Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nhava Seva) Ltd in India has now closed.CWCNSL’s founders, the Reddy family, will retain the remaining 10% shareholding and will remain involved in the business operations. Wilhelmsen Majority Shareholder in NorSea Group

With effect from 26 September 2017, Wilhelmsen increases its shareholding in NorSea Group from 40% to approximately 72%. NorSea Group provides supply bases and integrated logistics solutions to the offshore industry. Eidesvik Eiendomsinvest AS and Simon Møkster Eiendom AS will hold approximately 12% each, while management in NorSea Group controls the remaining 4%. Following the transaction, Wilhelmsen will buy a small portion of management controlled shares. The increased shareholding passed the Norwegian Competition Authorities 20 September 2017 and the transaction will take place 26 September. “We wish to have an exposure towards the energy market, primarily oil and gas, but also the offshore wind industry,” says Thomas Wilhelmsen, group CEO of Wilhelmsen.
