CSOV IWS Skywalker Delivered

Integrated Wind Solutions (IWS) announced its IWS Fleet subsidiary has taken delivery of the new commissioning service operations vessel (CSOV) IWS Skywalker from shipbuilder China Merchants Industry Holdings Co., Ltd. (CMI).After transit to Europe, the vessel will commence the first out of three charter contracts at the world's largest offshore wind farm—Dogger Bank, in the U.S.—in the first quarter of 2024.The purpose-built IWS Skywalker is the first of a series of six identical sister vessels, with the remaining five vessels scheduled for delivery in 2024 and 2025.

DOF Subsea Clinches Multiple Contracts in Oil & Gas, Renewables Sectors

Subsea services provider DOF Subsea said Tuesday it had won several new contracts in both the oil and gas and renewables sectors in the North Sea.The projects, to be delivered in 2022, total more than 185 vessel days excluding any optional work. Integrated Wind Solutions Orders Another Skywalker-class CSOV in China

Norway-based offshore vessel owner Integrated Wind Solutions (“IWS”) has ordered two Walk-to-Work Commissioning Service Operations Vessels (“CSOV”). The vessels are scheduled for delivery in H1 2024 from China Merchants Industry, Hong Kong. Currently, IWS has two identical vessels on order for delivery in 2023 and option agreements for up to two additional vessels for potentially H2 2024 delivery.The firm yard price for the two vessels is about EUR 48 million per vessel (around $52,76 million).

Equinor Contracts Seadrill Drillship West Saturn

Offshore drilling contractor Seadrill said it has secured a four-year firm contract with four one year options for the West Saturn drillship with Equinor Brasil Energia Ltda for work on the Bacalhau field in Brazil.Total value for the firm portion of the contract, including mobilization, upgrades and integrated services, is expected to be approximately $380 million, with a performance bonus providing meaningful incremental opportunity, Seadrill said. The total contract value is contingent on the final investment decision (FID) by the partnership for Bacalhau.

Unifeeder Acquires Feedertech

Denmark’s Short-sea operator Unifeeder , part of the global port operator DP World, has acquired a 77% stake in The Feedertech Group, a Singapore-based feeder and shortsea operator.The Group’s Chairman, Ali Maghami, will retain the remaining 23% shareholding.Established in 2003, the Group operates two companies; Feedertech, which is a feedering service and Perma, a regional shortsea network. GSP Offshore, Trident Black Sea Bid in Ukraine

GSP Holding company GSP Offshore SRL is the preferred drilling and engineering services provider of Trident Black Sea, in its bid for the right to negotiate a production sharing agreement (PSA) with the Ukrainian government for the offshore Dolphin block in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.According to a press release from the Romanian company providing offshore integrated services for oil and gas industry said that Trident Black Sea will be the operator of the project, in the event of a winning bid.Other partners of Trident for this project are San Leon Energy for non-operating technical assistance, and Lamor AB, as environmental protection services provider.

Jereh Builds 10 LNG Fuelling Stations in Russia

Chinese oil and gas company Jereh has announced that it has won a contract to construct 10 new LNG fueling stations in Russia.According to a statement from the company, it won the bid for 10 LNG fueling stations in Russia, which is believed to be the biggest order for LNG fueling within Russian market till now.Jereh is going to provide integrated services for this project covering modular design, procurement, manufacture, as well as commissioning. Its total fueling capacity is estimated to reach 500 million liter one year, which will strongly bolster local LNG supply.The whole project will be delivered in this September and put into use a month later, in October, it said.Russia holds the largest natural gas reserves in the world and is the second-largest producer of dry natural gas.
