MSC Upgrades IPAK Service

As part of our objective to continually improve their services to customers, MSC has included a new mainline call to Hazira from July 2015. MSC Tomoko will be the first vessel to call at Hazira on 2nd July 2015. Seven MSC 9,000 TEU vessels will be deployed on the upgraded service, offering fixed day weekly service to and from Hazira. Port Rotation: Nhava Sheva-Hazira-Mundra-Salalah-Gioia Tauro-Valencia-Rotterdam-Antwerp-Felixstowe-King Abdullah- Salalah-Port Qasim-Nhava Sheva. MSC has been serving Hazira Port with a dedicated feeder since early 2013, when this port opened for operations. Now, with a direct mainline call, MSC reaffirms its commitment to customers in India. Transit times and final scheduled departures will be communicated shortly.

Rate Restoration by SCI on Europe Trade

To continue to operate the Services with high level of  reliability, proficiency and meet expectations of the Customers, The  Shipping  Corporation of  India  Ltd., announces Rate Restoration on its Indian Subcontinent to Europe Services viz. ISE and IPAK Service  w.e.f. 9th February,   2015.          The Freight rate increase will be @ US$ 300 / TEU, USD600/FEU w.e.f.  9th February, 2015 .  The rate increase will be applicable for the shipments from  Indian Sub-continent to Europe, Mediterranean, Black Sea  & Red Sea trade route.

SCI Resorts to Rate Restoration

To meet increasing operational costs and maintain high level of reliability and proficiency to our Customers, The Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has announced hike in rates on ISE and IPAK Service (Indian Subcontinent to Europe) w.e.f. 12th September, 2014 applicable for the shipments from Indian Sub-continent to Europe, Mediterranean, Black Sea  & Red Sea trade route. The Freight rate increase will be @ US$ 250/TEU, USD500/FEU w.e.f. 12th September,  2014 . SCI will continue to operate the Service with high level of reliability, proficiency and meet expectations of our Customers. In the June and March quarter, the liner business posted a loss at the earnings before interest and tax (Ebit) level of $ 0.83 mi and $ 6.1 mi respectively.
