OSI to Provide Bridge Management Systems for German Navy Frigates

OSI Maritime Systems (OSI) announced it has been selected by Damen Naval to provide a navigation suite to the Federal German Navy’s F126 program. The contract includes Integrated Bridge Management Systems (IBMS) for the frigates and land-based test and training sites (Landanlage), all powered by ECPINS.ECPINS forms the heart of OSI’s IMO type-approved Integrated Navigation System - MSC 252(83), and is a leading WECDIS among NATO and Allied navies. Canadian Navy Upgrading Its Navigation Systems

The Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) has initiated a plan to upgrade navigation system hardware on a range of surface vessels and submarines.The supplier OSI Maritime Systems (OSI) said it has signed a deal with RCN to design, build, test, certify and deliver MIL-SPEC navigation system hardware upgrades to replace legacy systems that were originally provided by the company, some dating back to 2001. OSI will also provide spares and training support.The fleetwide upgrade includes 44 surface ship and five submarine systems.

OSI to Deliver IBNS for the US Navy LCS Program

OSI Maritime Systems said it has signed a contract with Lockheed Martin to provide its Integrated Bridge and Navigation System (IBNS) for the U.S. Navy Freedom-variant Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program. “We are pleased to have signed this very important contract with Lockheed Martin. (OSI) has signed a contract with Lockheed Martin Canada to build, deliver and support the installation of the Integrated Navigation and Bridge Systems (INBS) for the Royal Canadian Navy’s (RCN) new class of Arctic Offshore Patrol Ships (AOPS) to be built at the Halifax Shipyard. OSI Maritime Systems Opens Australian Office

OSI Maritime Systems (OSI) announced the official opening of its newest office, in Canberra, Australia. Located in the suburb of Fyshwick, the Canberra office will accommodate OSI’s business development, technical, service, and training staff that will be dedicated to the development of the company’s Asia Pacific business. The opening is part of OSI’s long-term commitment to its strategic focus on the Asia Pacific Region – aligning closely with the objectives of the Australian Defence White Paper. Lockheed Martin Canada is one of AOPS Prime Contractor Irving Shipbuilding’s Tier 1 suppliers for the AOPS project under the Canadian government’s National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy (NSPS). Under an initial contract, OSI will design the Integrated Bridge and Navigation System for the new vessels.

OSI Awarded Contract by L-3
