Gulf Island Wins Ferry Contract

American manufacturer of marine vessels used in the energy sector, Gulf Island Fabrication Inc. Gulf Island to Build Navy Vessels

Gulf Island Fabrication (GIFI), an American manufacturer of specialized structures and marine vessels used in the energy sector, announced that it received an award for the construction of two additional towing, salvage and rescue ships (T-ATS) for the U.S. Navy.The award represents the Navy’s execution of its second and third options for Gulf Island’s construction of three T-ATS vessels that will be built in the Company’s shipyard in Houma, Louisiana. Gulf Island to Build OSU Vessel

American manufacturer of specialized structures and marine vessels used in the energy sector Gulf Island Fabrication announced that it received an award for the construction of a third Regional Class Research Vessel for Oregon State University (OSU).The fabricator of marine vessels, this represents OSU’s execution of its third option for Gulf Island’s construction of three Regional Class Research Vessels. Gulf Island Fabrication to Build Riverboat Using Casino Boat's Hull

American manufacturer of marine vessels Gulf Island Fabrication has signed a contract for the expansion and delivery of one 245-guest riverboat with American Countess.The new paddle wheeler will be built using the existing hull of the Kanesville Queen, a former gaming vessel built in 1995. Gulf Island Fab Sign Bechtel Offshore Cooperation Agreement
