New Workwear Lifejacket Introduced

Ocean Safety has introduced a new range of workwear lifejackets. The new Kru Workwear range completes Ocean Safety’s lifejacket offering, providing a wide choice for personnel working in both the commercial and leisure industry. “We are pleased to announce the addition of the new Workwear models to our Kru range of lifejackets”, commented Ocean Safety’s Dave Evans. Ocean Safety’s New SOLAS Premier Kru Falcon lifejacket: integrated survival and recovery. The UK’s largest independent marine safety equipment supplier, Ocean Safety, has introduced the latest in its range of lifejackets, the Premier Kru Falcon. The lifejacket is not only designed to support a person in the water but it boasts a number of ready fitted features that can aid recovery and survival. These include the Kannad R10 AIS Survivor Recovery System, and the new powerful AQ98 lifejacket light which activates automatically in the water.

Ocean Safety Completes Arctic Safety Training

Ocean Safety training for ICE-SAR and Sonar in cold Icelandic waters. The UK’s largest independent marine safety equipment supplier, Ocean Safety, has just completed a chilly training session to safety authorities in Iceland in conjunction with the company’s Iceland service agent Sónar EHF, to demonstrate vital life saving equipment manufactured by the company. Andy Bracewell, Export  Manager at Ocean Safety, led a team which demonstrated the capabilities of the Kannad SafeLink R10 AIS Survivor Recovery System (SRS) to service technicians at Sónar EHF, based in Reykjavík.

Datema Appointed Ocean Safety Distributor in The Netherlands

Ocean Safety has appointed a new distributor in the Netherlands to supply the company’s range of equipment including the Kru range of lifejackets, Ocean Safety liferafts and lifebuoys, first aid kits, survival suits and Aquaspec lights. Datema, which is part of the Nautical Safety Group, is prominent in the field of nautical safety and nautical data, (including Enc Track), in the Netherlands. The company and its 45 employees are based in Delfzijl and Rotterdam, and will be supplying Ocean Safety’s products to leisure chandlers…
