Wärtsilä Voyage acquired PortLink Global, a global port solutions company headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Heidmar Names van der Zijde CEO

The Board of Directors of Heidmar has announced the appointment of Hans van der Zijde as Heidmar's new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. van der Zijde graduated from the Nautical Academy of Rotterdam in 1985 and subsequently studied Maritime and Logistic Management there, graduating in 1992. Mr. van der Zijde has worked for and held management positions in leading shipping companies in Europe, South Africa and Asia. Dockwise to Review Merits of Intended Offer Boskalis

Dockwise Ltd. confirms it has received an unsolicited intended offer from Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. ('Boskalis') for the acquisition of all outstanding shares of Dockwise at an offer price of EUR 17.20 per share cum dividend. The intended offer by Boskalis is subject to certain specified and unspecified conditions. The Board of Directors of Dockwise, together with its financial and legal advisers, will consider the intended offer of Boskalis to assess its merits, risks and the consequences for Dockwise and its shareholders, as well as its employees and other stakeholders, compared with the stand-alone strategy of Dockwise and other alternatives.

Royston Appoints New Operations Manager

Simon Richardson Operations Mgr, Royston

Simon Richardson has been appointed as operations manager for diesel engineering specialists Royston Ltd. The appointment follows the retirement of Peter Millen after 30 years with the company. Simon took over the position at the end of March but will continue to benefit from Peter’s experience as he intends to continue working on company projects on the shop floor for two days a week. Simon joined Royston in 1997 and has become well known among the company’s global customer base for his technical expertise as a field service engineer.
