ELA Offshore Accommodation for OSV SeaMar Splendid

ELA Container Offshore GmbH delivered an Offshore Living Quarter to Netherlands based SeaMar Services BV in Den Helder. The container was placed on board the Offshore Support Vessel ‘SeaMar Splendid’ and provided extra accommodation for subsea work in the North Sea. “We decided to hire an A60 ELA Offshore Living Quarter with DNV 2.7-2 offshore certification as SeaMar standards demands quality and all rental of additional high critical equipment need to comply to all local and international legislation on- and offshore”, says Sybrand Spijksma, Technical Superintendent at SeaMar Services BV. The SeaMar Group has a long term experience in agency, logistics & management services and as ship owners offers an all-round service package for the offshore and shipping industry.

ST Engineering’s Secures $344m in 4Q2015

Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) said that its marine arm, Singapore Technologies Marine Ltd (ST Marine) has secured new orders worth about $344m for its Shiprepair and Engineering business groups in the fourth quarter of 2015. The contracts cover major upgrades, conversion, maintenance and repair of vessels in the naval and commercial segments.  These vessels include patrol vessels, pipe-laying vessel, accommodation & work barge, oil & chemical tankers, and a cruise ship. The new orders also included logistics management services. These projects are being carried out in the Singapore facilities, and will be delivered progressively over the next two to six years.

Dockwise Ltd : Q2 & H1 Results 2012

DOCKWISE Ltd. today publishes results for the three month and Half Year periods ended June 30, 2012. Cash flow generated from operating activities of USD 45 million (USD 64 million in first half year 2011). Acquisition of Fairstar Heavy Transport N.V. Initiated buy out and delisting procedures following control (99%) as of July 2012. Contract awards of USD 109 million in Q2 2012 include:Hebron topside transportation for Exxon Mobil;USA Big Dog Spar Buoy for BP. USD 306 million for execution in 2014 and beyond (USD 170 million at end Q2 2011 for execution in 2013 and beyond).

Alion Wins $15M Navy Contract

Alion Science and Technology, an employee-owned technology solutions company, has won a $15m contract to support the Naval Operational Logistics Support Center (NOLSC) as the center integrates and modernizes its logistics support systems that support deployable units in the Navy and Coast Guard. Under the three-year logistics management services contract, Alion will assist NOLSC with logistics planning, modeling and simulation, concept generation and development, and manning, personnel and training analysis. Alion also will conduct the front end assessment for the Littoral Combat Ship, which will serve as the basis for all manning, personnel and training decisions affecting end strengths and budgets.

Bourbon 2008 & 4Q Revenue Report

"Bourbon's performance for the year 2008 reflects strong growth in the offshore activities, keeping pace with deliveries of new vessels, with the renewal of old contracts and the use of outside charters when requested by our customers," said Jacques de Chateauvieux, Bourbon Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Bourbon's 2008 annual revenues totaled $1,205m, up 21% (+28.5% at constant exchange rates). The activity of both Divisions is still affected by the dollar trend, which became favorable again starting in the 4th quarter. In the 4th quarter of 2008, revenues rose by 30.3% (+23.5% at constant exchange rates). Bourbon now conducts 95% of its business abroad. The Offshore portion is up and accounted for 81% of the group's revenues in the 4th quarter of 2008.

Alion Wins $2.6M Navy Contract

The Navy has awarded Alion Science and Technology a $2.6 million contract for logistics management services to support the stand up of a Navy Strategic Mobility Office responsible for deployment planning and execution for all naval forces. Alion will be leading the Naval Operational Logistics Support Center’s (NOLSC) project to stand up the mobility office. The work focuses on writing the Navy’s comprehensive Force Deployment Planning and Execution (FDP&E) policy and the Navy Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (NTTP) guidance. The Navy is transitioning from a service-centric deployment philosophy to planning and operating in a joint force deployment environment. The period of performance under the contract runs for 18 months.
