NOIA Elects McEvoy, Chairman Welch Vice Chair

The National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) Board of Directors has elected Kevin McEvoy as Chairman and Dave Welch as Vice Chairman for the upcoming 2016-2017 term. McEvoy and Welch assumed their positions at the NOIA Annual Meeting today in Washington, D.C. Since 2011, McEvoy has served as Chief Executive Officer of Oceaneering International, Inc., global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on deepwater applications. Oceaneering Wins NOIA Safety Award

The National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) today named Oceaneering International, Inc. as the recipient of the 2016 Safety-in-Seas (SIS) Safety Practice Award. Kevin McEvoy, CEO of Oceaneering International, accepted the award at the NOIA annual meeting in Washington, DC. “We are very pleased to be selected for this prestigious recognition. Through rigorous risk analysis with our customer, we developed multiple redundant, fail-safe systems to safely conduct these complex subsea operations in deep water,” said Kevin McEvoy, CEO of Oceaneering International, Inc. Oceaneering was recognized for the innovative and incident-free completion of a subsea well stimulation campaign, using a multipurpose service vessel instead of a work-over rig.

Taylor to Chair NOIA Board

Shell Charters Oceaneering Vessel for IMR

Oceaneering International, Inc. has entered into a two-year, multiservice vessel charter agreement with Shell Offshore Inc. for use of the Ocean Alliance in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico (GOM) commencing January 1, 2015. The Ocean Alliance is a U.S. flagged vessel built in 2010 with an overall length of approximately 309 feet (94 meters), a Class 2 dynamic positioning system, accommodations for 69 personnel, a helideck, a 150-ton active heave compensated crane and a working moonpool.

Charity Selected for 2015 OTC Dinner

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) announces the 2015 beneficiary of the Annual OTC Dinner—the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) and the Petroleum Equipment & Services Association (PESA) Energy Education Center for the benefit of the Energy Institute High School. OTC will host the fifth Annual OTC Dinner on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at NRG Stadium in Houston. Oceaneering Announces Newbuild Subsea Support Vessel

Oceaneering International, Inc. announced it has commissioned the construction of a subsea support vessel from BAE Systems. The vessel is expected for delivery by the end of the first quarter of 2016. This vessel will be U.S. flagged and documented with a coastwise endorsement by the U.S. Coast Guard. It will have an overall length of 353 feet, a Class 2 dynamic positioning system, accommodations for 110 personnel, a helideck, a 250-ton active heave compensated crane, and a working moonpool.

Oceaneering International, Inc. has commissioned the construction of a subsea support vessel from BAE Systems, expected to be delivered by the end of the first quarter of 2016. The new ship will be U.S. flagged and documented with a coastwise endorsement by the U.S. Coast Guard. It will have an overall length of 353 feet, a Class 2 dynamic positioning system, accommodations for 110 personnel, a helideck, a 250-ton active heave compensated crane, and a working moonpool. Two 13,000 foot-rated Oceaneering work class remotely operated vehicles will also be provided.

Oceaneering Charter 'Normand Flower' for Three Years

Oceaneering International, has chartered the 'Normand Flower', a Solstad Offshore multi-service subsea support vessel. The charter term is expected to commence during the fourth quarter of 2013 upon arrival of the vessel for work in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM). Oceaneering Announces Vessel Charter

Oceaneering International, Inc. (NYSE:OII) has announced that it has entered into a five-year charter for use of the Cade Candies, a multi-service subsea support vessel owned by Otto Candies LLC. The charter is expected to commence during the second quarter of 2013. This state-of-the-art, U.S. flagged vessel was built in 2010. It has an overall length of approximately 309 feet (94 meters), a Class 2 dynamic positioning system, accommodations for 69 personnel, a helideck, a 150-ton active heave compensated crane, and a working moonpool. Oceaneering's current rolling, short-term charter contract on the Cade Candies, in place since November 2011, will continue through early 2013. At that time, the vessel will enter a shipyard to undergo modifications to enhance its project capabilities.

MSV Ocean Intervention, New Contract

Oceaneering International, Inc. (NYSE:OII) announced it has secured a one-year term contract with estimated revenue in the range of $25m to $30m for use of the MSV Ocean Intervention and other related services, commencing early February 2009. The contract contains a customer option for a one-year extension. The customer has contracted Oceaneering to conduct inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) of deepwater subsea facilities in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM). Examples of this work include changing out pods and chokes, installing flowline jumpers and control umbilical flying leads, remediating hydrates, and supporting diving operations on deepwater floating facilities.
