Phoenix Products Moving to Advance International Presence

Phoenix Products Company has partnered with two internationally recognized organizations to serve ports and terminals. By joining with these new distributors in Europe, Liftcom BV, and Southeast Asia, Portek Systems & Equipment Pte Ltd, Phoenix is able to provide lighting to more customers in these regions. Phoenix proudly announces Liftcom BV as a master distributor for Europe. Liftcom provides maintenance and engineering services to terminals throughout Europe. CAI Tapped As Raytheon Anschütz Distributor

Conley & Associates, Inc. (CAI) is a major provider of technical services, supply chain management and life cycle support for U.S. Military communications and navigation systems deployed throughout the world, including the Middle-east, Japan, the Mediterranean, Central America and the U.S. Conley was recently selected to be a U.S. Raytheon Anschütz Distributor. Raytheon Anschütz GmbH, a division of Raytheon Corporation, is located in Kiel Germany and is a leading manufacturer of integrated naval bridge systems and nautical equipment such as gyro compasses, autopilots, steering control systems, monitoring systems, radar systems, electronic charting equipment and communication systems.

Nichols Brothers Catamaran Delivered

Another Nichols Brothers catamaran joined the commuter fleet on San Francisco Bay in November. Nichols Brothers Boat Builders, Inc., of Whidbey Island, Wash., delivered a Cummins-powered, 112-ft. vessel for service between Alameda, Oakland, and San Francisco. The 315-passenger catamaran, M/V Peralta, will be operated by the Alameda/Oakland Ferry Service, with the Blue and Gold Fleet providing maintenance and engineering services. As with the 27 other catamarans built by Nichols Brothers, the vessel was designed by International Catamaran Designs of Sydney, Australia. Commuter route for the Peralta includes the ports of Alameda and Oakland and the ferry landing on the Embarcadero in San Francisco.
