Willard Marine Appoints Bryson Director of Engineering

With over 20 years of maritime experience, Bryson was previously with Derecktor Shipyards, Christensen Shipyards, and Heisley Marine Corp. Bryson also served as Director of Engineering at Brunswick Corporation, overseeing approximately 50 engineers and launching eight new products annually over a five-year period. Bryson also spent time with Clipper Windpower where he served as Program Manager. “I can’t express enough how excited I am to work with Willard Marine,” says Bryson. “While at Brunswick, it was very hard to find ways to compete with Willard. Their fleets were all handmade in the U.S.

Willard Vessel Chosen to Umpire America’s Cup

Willard Marine, Inc. of Anaheim, Calif. announced that the America’s Cup Racing Association has chosen to use their 43’ High Speed Interceptor RIB as the Umpire Boat for this summer’s race. This year’s new AC 72 Catamarans have hulls that will reach speeds over 40 knots. The Willard Interceptor was designed for high performance and can go as fast as 62 knots which is needed to keep a faster pace than the racing hulls. Willard Marine Inc. is a leading manufacturer of fiberglass and aluminum boats for a wide variety of military, law enforcement, and commercial customers.

West Coast Custom Yachts Name Dealer

Crow's Nest Yachts is the new exclusive dealer for Westcoast Custom Yachts, featuring 62' and 64' Pilothouse models, and a 64' Express Cruiser. Crow’s Nest Yachts  announces it is now the exclusive West Coast dealer for Westcoast Custom Yachts, located in British Columbia, Canada. Crow’s Nest Yachts is featuring the North American-built yachts at its locations in Seattle, Newport Beach and San Diego beginning in early May. Renowned boat builder Forbes Cooper is behind Westcoast Custom Yachts. He’s been manufacturing boats since the 1970’s, first with his Cooper sailboat, and then with the Cooper Prowler series of yachts in the 1980’s. Cooper has come out of retirement to put his mark on these new well-crafted yachts.
