Verizon Lights Up U.S' First 5G Shipyard

Carboline: 70 Years of Coatings and Linings

Coatings, linings and fireproofing company Carboline was founded by Stanley Lopata in St. Louis, Mo. in 1947 and has since gone on to become a global organization, now celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2017. “We have achieved this milestone through the hard work and dedication of our employees, partners and our culture of customer service that exists throughout the entire organization,” said company president Chris Tiernay. Ribcraft Expands Production Facility

Ribcraft a builder of professional grade rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), headquartered in Marblehead, Massachusetts, announced that it is expanding their production facilities to meet the growing demand from professional and recreational customers. "As most boat builders are scaling production way back, we are fortunate to be growing and expanding. More and more recreational boaters and marine professionals are turning to RIBs because of their inherent efficiencies and superior performance over solid sided boats", said Ribcraft President, Brian Gray. He continued, "The marine industry is in trouble with most segments reporting decreases of as much as 40% from the previous year. The exception is the RIB market.

Savi Technology and Oneseal to Develop Revolutionary Electronic Bolt Seal

Savi Technology announced at today's opening of the U.S. Maritime Security Expo in New York that they will jointly develop and market a disposable low-cost electronic bolt seal that automatically transmits alerts over radio frequencies when locking mechanisms on cargo containers are tampered with or violated. The new electronic seal will combine EchoPoint, Savi's latest, sixth-generation, active radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, with OneSeal's design and manufacturing skills for high-security locks. The partners plan to introduce a widely affordable product by early next year that will dramatically improve the security and management of cargo containers moving throughout the global supply chain by ship, rail and truck.
