Intellian to Debut Pair of 3-Axis TV Antennas

Intellian Technologies announced the upcoming release of two compact 33 inch (83 cm), 3-axis stabilized TV antennas. Shipping in March 2012, the Intellian t80 and t80W are specifically designed for use on yachts and commercial vessels requiring a compact antenna size with global satellite TV service reception. The Intellian t80 antennas use a fully stabilized 3-axis platform, as well as a fourth axis for LNB auto-skew control, ensuring seamless operation in all regions. Multiple HD receivers can be connected to the system as standard, providing a truly hands off global coverage depending on the regions visited. Built-in as standard an internal GPS combined with Intellian’s patented Wide Range Search (WRS) provides the fastest satellite acquisition possible.

Caterpillar New Logistic Center in Germany

Caterpillar is celebrating the launch of a new logistic center located in Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany, north of the city of Hamburg. The warehouse, comprising an interior area of nearly 161,450 sq ft, is the fourth facility in Germany for Caterpillar Motoren GmbH & Co, and will serve as a hub for MaK spare parts for customers throughout the world. With its close proximity to both the international airport and the port infrastructure in Hamburg, the logistic center will increase velocity for parts availability to customers and reduce costs. The modern warehouse was designed and built according to logistic standards developed by Caterpillar, as well as the manufacturing standards developed through 6 Sigma and Cat Production System (CPS).
