Holland America Line Promotes Mosslinger as VP

Holland America Line has promoted Gerald Mosslinger to vice president, food and beverage, as part of the renamed Guest Experience and Product Development Department that was formerly the Marine Hotel Operations Department. The cruise line made the departmental name change to better reflect the department’s core objectives and primary focus. As vice president, food and beverage, Mosslinger will oversee all of the culinary and dining service operations as well as manage all beverage operations for the Holland America Line fleet, including revenue activities, product innovation and service. Rathlin Sound Maritime Festival opens on 23 May

The Rathlin Sound Maritime Festival opens with an evening parade at Ballycastle seafront on Friday 23 May and continues through the week and both weekends until the closing event of music and The Big Lunch on Rathlin on Sunday 01 June 2014. At the very heart of the spectacular Causeway Coast and Glens the communities of Ballycastle and Rathlin Island extend a very warm welcome to enjoy the stunning scenery, diverse attractions and local culture. The celebrations are designed to bring out the rich and diverse maritime culture  and will be centred on Rathlin Sound, the body of water that lies between Rathlin Island and Ballycastle. Holland American Line Launches 'Dive-in At The Terrace Grill’

Holland America Line is enhancing the Terrace Grill on its 15 premium ships and rebranding the popular lunch spot as “Dive-In at the Terrace Grill.” The outdoor bistro-style grill area by the ships’ Lido pool will feature new signature burgers, hot dogs and fries. The first ships to open the new gourmet grill were ms Eurodam, ms Amsterdam and ms Maasdam. The remaining ships in the fleet will be opening Dive-In at the Terrace Grill throughout summer 2014. RCCL Appoints Danis as VP of Supply Chain Management

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. appointed Jeff Danis as the cruise line’s new vice president of Supply Chain Management. Danis will be responsible for overseeing worldwide procurement, inventory management, distribution, warehousing, and shipping operations for both Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises. He will focus on supplier relationship management, maintaining integrity of the procurement process, and driving efficiencies in the supply chain process, from planning to consumption and utilization. His efforts will be closely coordinated with internal offices such as Total Guest Satisfaction and Marine Operations. Before joining Royal Caribbean, Danis worked with P&O Princess Cruises as vice president of Global Purchasing and Logistics.
