MEP Signs Agreement with Marmex

Marine Environmental Partners, Inc. (MEP), a West Palm Beach-based developer of ballast and waste water sanitation systems has signed a cooperative agreement with Finnish marine product and services company, Marmex. Based in Mariehamn, Marmex represents MEP's MariSan™ ballast water process treatment systems in Finland. The MariSan™ ballast water systems comply with the most stringent worldwide environmental regulations. Utilizing electro-ionization as the core treatment methodology, the MariSan™ systems produce effluents that are free from harmful chemicals, bacteria or invasive species. Fully automated, this unique technology is cost-effective to purchase, operate and maintain.

MEP Nominated For Seatrade Award

Marine Environmental Partners, Inc. (MEP), a Fort Lauderdale-based developer of ballast water and wastewater treatment systems, has been nominated for the 2003 Seatrade Protection of the Marine and Atmospheric Environment Award. MEP's water treatment technology utilizes a patented MariSan electro-chemical process that prevents invasive aquatic species found in ballast water from being introduced into non-native marine ecosystems. MEP Expands and Relocates Facility

Marine Environmental Partners, Inc. (MEP), a Dania Beach-based developer of ballast water and wastewater treatment systems, is relocating and expanding its operational facilities to 12,000 square feet at 3874 Fiscal Court, West Palm Beach, effective May 1. Active in research and development of innovative marine water treatment technology, MEP has been recognized worldwide for its MariSan process systems that are ecologically safe and user efficient. Among the firm's recent honors, MEP's ballast water system was one of three advancements in the maritime industry internationally that was nominated for the prestigious 2003 Seatrade Protection of the Marine and Atmospheric Environment Awards.
