A new entrant to North Sea decommissioning, Well-Safe Solutions was established by a group of oil industry stalwarts Alasdair Locke, Mark Patterson and Paul Warwick, setting out to provide a new approach to the safe and cost-efficient decommissioning of subsea wells. Nautronix Deliver First Systems of $10M Order to Rowan
Nautronix have successfully delivered the first two NASDrill RS925 and NASeBOP (Emergency BOP Acoustic Control) systems from their current order of four systems for two of Rowanâs new ultra-deepwater drillships, the Rowan Relentless and the Rowan Reliance. The total contract value is worth approximately $10 million. Nautronixâ NASDrill RS925 system has been designed specifically to meet the requirements for a reliable, stable DP and position reference system for demanding offshore operations, in particular deepwater drilling vessels.
Nautronix Celebrates 30 Years
Through water communication and positioning technology company, Nautronix, celebrated 30 years in the oil and gas industry this week. Their financial year has come to an end and they are reporting growth in 2012/2013 of more than 41% on the previous year, the company said, with revenue increasing to £16.1 million which demonstrates how much the company has grown over the years. The success of the company comes from the introduction of the Survey Services division and a number of significant contract wins including recently awarded contracts with an approximate value of £2.8 million. Nautronix Strengthen Sales Force
Nautronix specialists in through water communications and positioning technologies, has announced the appointment of 3 Vice Presidents to their sales team. Experienced subsea development manager, Dan Williams, is serving as the companyâs VP Sales, Commercial Acoustics. In his new role, Dan will assume direct responsibility for building the awareness of Nautronix ADS² technology in the global marketplace. He will also facilitate the companyâs development in the diver communications market.
Nautronix to Supply Rowanâs Third New Ultra-Deepwater Drillship
Nautronix has been awarded another contract to supply NASDrill RS925 deepwater acoustic positioning system, for Rowanâs third new ultra-deepwater drillship. The vessel will be constructed at Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in Ulsan, Korea and will be based on a Hyundai Gusto P1000 design. The vessel will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2014. Nautronix received this order through a well known Norwegian DP Supplier who is supplying their Dynamic Positioning (DP) System on the vessel. This is the third order that Nautronix have received for the Rowan fleet; for their NASDrill RS925 system, following on from vessels one and two.

Nautronix have been awarded a contract to supply NASDrill RS925 deepwater acoustic positioning system for Rowanâs new ultra-deepwater drillships. Nautronix Wins Major Contract In Norway
Nautronix have been awarded a three year contract by the Norwegian SURF contractor, Ocean Installer AS, for the supply of survey services to support their offshore construction activities. The contract includes the provision of onshore and offshore survey services in support of tendering and project activities. Nautronix will initially mobilise survey personnel and equipment onto the Normand Clipper, Ocean Installerâs long term chartered construction vessel due to commence offshore operations in May 2012.
Nautronix Opens New Office in Norway
Nautronix announces the opening of a new office in Norway and the appointment of Jørn Berg as Vice President of Sales for Norway.
