The technology group Wärtsilä has completed replacement of the Ship Analytics simulator solution at the United States Coast Guard Academy’s Ship Control and Navigation Training System (SCANTS) facility. Transas informs it has installed the fifth simulator for high-level training for pilots who operate in the port of Dunkirk in France. The pilot station is now equipped with the latest generation of the Transas navigational simulator Navi-Trainer Professional 5000, which capabilities allow to steer any kind of ship in combination with any propulsion and steering system available on the market, Transas said. The compact simulator version was particularly adapted to the Dunkirk station's budget and training objectives.

Dokuz Eylul University Maritime Faculty, Turkey has conducted a study to develop a new "East Mediterranean Container Terminal" in Mersin International Port (MIP) using Transas Simulation solutions. Yapı Proje Uygulama (YPU) that manage construction project of new container terminal chose the Dokuz Eylul University Maritime Faculty for this project after a comprehensive market research. Vice President of YPU Mr. Ali Ihsan GUNER stated: "Dokuz Eylul University Maritime Faculty has the most advanced simulation system and the most experienced academic staff for Port Design and Planning in Turkey".

Kimberley TAFE Broome Maritime Simulation Centre has extended its range of services by selecting a Transas Full Mission Transas Simulator. The Transas Marine will upgrade the existing simulation centre to provide one of the most advanced marine trainings and R&D tools in the Australia. The simulation suite includes a main bridge and a tug station for a new port development, training of pilots and tug masters.
