Holland America Line, Seabourn are World’s Most Ethical Companies

For the fourth consecutive year, Holland America Line, together with sister line Seabourn, was named among the World’s Most Ethical Companies by the Ethisphere Institute, the global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices. Savvy Fuel Management Fuels TOTE’s Growth

As Tote pioneers the use of natural gas as a marine fuel with two groundbreaking projects, Anthony Chiarello combines the strength and diversity of the Saltchuk group of companies with a forward-thinking, environmentally correct Tote business plan. As TOTE prepares to bring the world’s first natural gas-powered containerships to the maritime industry, the firm will also be the first to convert its existing fleet to run on natural gas. Two Orca Class vessels, operated by Totem Ocean Trailer Express (Totem Ocean) in the Alaska trade, will be converted with minimal time out of service and return as the most environmentally advanced ships in the nation.

Holland American Line, with Seabourn Named 'World's Most Ethical' Companies

For the third consecutive year, Holland America Line, together with sister line Seabourn, was named among the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere Institute, a leading business ethics think-tank. The company secured its spot on the list by implementing and maintaining business practices and initiatives that are instrumental to company success and benefit the community. Named in the Leisure and Hospitality category, Holland America Line/Seabourn is one of 144 total honorees representing 41 industries from around the world. Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Ethics Officer Kelly Clark and Emmely Kik, Manager, Ethics and Compliance, accepted the 2014 World’s Most Ethical Companies award at an event March 20 in New York City.

Cruise Lines Holland America & Seabourn Gain Ethics Recognition

Holland America Line and Seabourn have been listed as two of the world's most ethical operators by Ethisphere Institute. This is the first year that the companies have been honored for promoting the highest of ethical standards. Out of a record number of nominations for the award, Holland America Line and Seabourn secured their spots on the list by implementing and maintaining upright business practices and initiatives that are instrumental to each company's success, benefit the community and raise the bar for ethical standards within the industry. The World's Most Ethical Company awards come on the heels of Holland America Line and Seabourn earning coveted Ethics Inside® Certification from the Ethisphere Institute last year.
