Nautronix Deliver First Systems of $10M Order to Rowan

Nautronix have successfully delivered the first two NASDrill RS925 and NASeBOP (Emergency BOP Acoustic Control) systems from their current order of four systems for two of Rowan’s new ultra-deepwater drillships, the Rowan Relentless and the Rowan Reliance. The total contract value is worth approximately $10 million. Nautronix’ NASDrill RS925 system has been designed specifically to meet the requirements for a reliable, stable DP and position reference system for demanding offshore operations, in particular deepwater drilling vessels.

Nautronix to Supply Rowan’s Third New Ultra-Deepwater Drillship

Nautronix has been awarded another contract to supply NASDrill RS925 deepwater acoustic positioning system, for Rowan’s third new ultra-deepwater drillship. The vessel will be constructed at Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in Ulsan, Korea and will be based on a Hyundai Gusto P1000 design. The vessel will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2014. Nautronix received this order through a well known Norwegian DP Supplier who is supplying their Dynamic Positioning (DP) System on the vessel. This is the third order that Nautronix have received for the Rowan fleet; for their NASDrill RS925 system, following on from vessels one and two.

Nautronix Wins DP Contract from Rowan

Nautronix will supply their NASDrill RS925 Positioning System to Rowan’s new Ultra-Deepwater Drillships. Nautronix have been awarded a contract to supply NASDrill RS925 deepwater acoustic positioning system for Rowan’s new ultra-deepwater drillships. The vessels will be constructed at Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in Ulsan, Korea and are based on a Hyundai Gusto P1000 design. The first vessel will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2013, with the second one estimated to be completed in 2014. Nautronix received orders for their NASDrill RS925 systems through a well known Norwegian DP Supplier who will supply their Dynamic Positioning (DP) System for these vessels.

Nautronix Sign Contract for Vessel Controls Systems

Nautronix has signed a multi-million dollar contract with Keppel FELS Limited in Singapore for the supply of systems for their new construction for ENSCO International Incorporated. The ENSCO 8500 is an ultra-deepwater semi-submersible drilling rig. The scope of supply includes Nautronix NMS6000 multi-station Class 2 Dynamic Positioning (DP) System, Thruster Controls, Vessel Management System as well as associated environmental and position reference sensors. Nautronix will also supply their Dual NASDrill RS925 multi- hydrophone LBL / SBL Acoustic Positioning System. Delivery of equipment will be for the end of 2006 with commissioning due in 2007. provide a dependable acoustic DP sensor for ultra deep water positioning.

Nautronix Secures Order from Keppel FELS Ltd.

Nautronix secured a multi million-dollar order from Keppel FELS Ltd for the supply of systems for an ultra-deepwater semisubmersible drilling rig. The vessel is under construction for ENSCO International Incorporated and it will be the second to bear Nautronix equipment - the company secured a contract for the ENSCO 8500 at the end of 2005. The latest order is for the ENSCO 8501, which is scheduled for completion by the second quarter of 2009 for mobilization to the Gulf of Mexico. The scope of supply includes Nautronix NMS6000 multi-station Class 2 Dynamic Positioning (DP) System, thruster controls, a vessel management system and associated environmental and position reference sensors.

Nautronix secured a multi million dollar order from Keppel FELS Ltd for the supply of systems for an ultra-deepwater semisubmersible drilling rig. The vessel is under construction for ENSCO International Incorporated and it will be the second to bear Nautronix equipment - the company secured a contract for the ENSCO 8500 at the end of 2005. The latest order is for the ENSCO 8501, which is scheduled for completion by the second quarter of 2009 for mobilization to the Gulf of Mexico.
