PSA Chairman Receives Belgium Award
On 27 November 2014, PSA Group Chairman Fock Siew Wah was conferred the national distinction âCommander of the Order of the Crownâ from His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium for his merit, dedication and services rendered to the Kingdom of Belgium. Hessenatie and Noord Natie Finalize Merger
Yesterday the merger between Hessenatie and Noord Natie was finalized, as planned. The merged company will operate under the name Hesse-Noord Natie; 60 percent of the shares will be owned by CMB and 40 percent by Noord Natie. It is expected that the sale of a majority interest in Hesse-Noord Natie to PSA Corporation (Singapore) will be realized before the end of the first quarter. CMB will maintain a participating interest of 20 percent. Hesse-Noord Natie will operate a total of 22 terminals in the ports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge, including 6 container terminals in the port of Antwerp, and specialized terminals for general cargo goods, sugar, fruits and RoRo.
OT Africa Line moves its operations in Antwerp
OT Africa Line is to move its operations in Antwerp from Hesse Noord Natie Terminal's Delwaide Dock (berth 702) to Churchill Dock South (berth 420) in order to increase efficiency and provide its customers with a range of additional benefits. The new berth, which will be used by OTAL and its sister company Delmas on an almost exclusive basis, is able to handle containers, RoRo, break bulk, project cargo and cars. In addition, there is a multipurpose storage warehouse suitable for cocoa covering some 64,000 cu. Vessels on OTAL's Combined and Express Service will call at Churchill Dock South every five days en route to West Africa.

CMB Closes Bidding On Its Port Handling Division
Belgian shipping group CMB said on Wednesday it has closed the bidding period for the sale of a stake in the combined operation of its port handling Hessenatie division with peer Noord Natie. "The bidding period is definitely over," the deputy chairman said. He declined to comment on the number of bids submitted or when CMB would make a decision. Earlier, CMB had said that five foreign parties, including Port of Singapore and Eurogate, had expressed an interest in buying a stake in the combined company. CMB shares were 2.44 percent lower at 76 euros ($67.74) in morning trade on Wednesday.
