Sovcomflot Profits slip

Reviewing the company’s financial and operating results for the first half year ended 30 June 2016, on 23 August 2016, the Executive Board of PAO Sovcomflot (“SCF Group”) noted that despite a tanker market downturn, the company was able to demonstrate strong performance and strengthen its financial position while continuing to enhance its industrial projects portfolio in accordance with its Development Strategy. * Five new vessels launched: pioneering 172,600 m3 capacity ice breaking LNG carrier (Arc7 ice class) for Yamal LNG project (January), three new Arctic shuttle tankers for Novy Port project (February, April, June), and a new ice-breaking supply vessel to serve Sakhalin 2 project (June).

Russian shipping company Sovcomflot, a global top-five tanker company, reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2014. The company, which offers crude oil, refined petroleum products and liquefied gas transportation services, recorded a “strong start” with highlights as listed below. •Successful completion by SCF Group’s company, Novoship, of modernization at the Port of Sochi for 2014 Winter Olympic Games. Swiber Holdings Report Profit Surge

Singapore-based offshore energy group Swiber Holdings issues its Q2 & HY 2012 financial report. Swiber Holdings provide offshore construction, offshore marine, subsea & offshore development services. 2Q 2012 highlights: Net Profit surges 66.0% to US$20.9 million Revenue rises 27.1% to US$229.6 million HY 2012 highlights:  Net Profit rose 36.9% to US$33.5 million Revenue increases 28.0% to US$424.0 million Record order book of approximately US$1.6 billion, expected to contribute to Group’s results over the next two years Swiber considers that its strengthened capabilities places them in the big league, well placed for large contract wins.
