ARI Deliver India Offshore Vessel Bridge Simulators
ARI Simulation has delivered a complete suite of integrated offshore simulators to the NUSI Offshore Training Institute (NOTI) in Mumbai, India. The NOTI facility has been created by the National Union of Seafarers of India (NUSI) to support competence development in offshore shipping among its members, promoting best practice as they progress up the chain of command in this vital, fast-growing sector. ARI Simulation was given a brief to achieve several offshore sector firsts for NOTI.
OSC
A new Offshore Simulator Center (OSC) is being finalized in Aalesund, Norway to provide advanced training in offshore ship operations. The new facilities are located in a 'Norwegian Competence Center building' next to the Aalesund University College. The building contains several futuristic constructions, such as a 13.5m diameter aluminium dome for the offshore operations simulators, and two 4m diameter spherical domes for crane simulation. Rolls-Royce Opens European Marine Technology & Training Centre
Rolls-Royce officially opens its new European Marine Technology and Training Centre in Ålesund, Norway. The celebration, whose guest of honour was HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, marked the formal opening of this 3,000m² ultra-modern facility, in the heart of Norway's maritime cluster. The centre features the latest Rolls-Royce marine technology and equipment to support customer training and simulation requirements and is particularly focused on offshore deepwater oil and gas exploration and production activities.
