Shearwater in 'Pioneering' Seismic Survey Project Offshore Norway

Offshore seismic survey specialist Shearwater on Friday announced a new project with the Austrian oil firm OMV for a "pioneering" towed streamer survey with Ocean Bottom Nodes over the Berling gas and condensate discovery in the Norwegian Sea. Norway's OSM Maritime Buys New Zealand's Kingston Offshore Services

Norway's offshore and maritime services provider OSM Maritime (OSM) has bought New Zealand’s oil and gas and offshore marine service firm Kingston Offshore Services. Austria Resists Including Nord Stream 2 in EU Package of Russia Sanctions

Austria is sticking with its opposition to including the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in a package of sanctions against Moscow that the European Union is preparing in the event Russia invades Ukraine, Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said on Friday.Austrian oil company OMV is one of Russian gas giant Gazprom's partners in the pipeline project connecting Russia to Germany, which has been completed but is not yet operational as it is awaiting German and EU regulatory approval. Bumi Armada Winds Up Dormant Subsidiaries

Bumi Armada, a Malaysian offshore service firm and FPSO provider, has decided to wind up its two dormant subsidiaries.The company said that its subsidiaries Offshore Marine Ventures Sdn Bhd and Bumi Armada Ship Management Sdn Bhd, had approved via Special Resolutions at their respective Members’ meetings held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, for the two firms to be voluntarily wound-up. Arulendran Gunedran of RSM Corporate Advisory (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up of the Subsidiaries.Offshore Marine Ventures was incorporated on July 22, 2005. Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) revealed Thursday that its shipping arm ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) has added six very large crude carriers (VLCC) to its fleet as the UAE sate energy company expands production and moves further into trading.Two of the tankers were purchased from Norwegian owner Hunter Group in 2020, delivered in December and are already operating, and one was purchased this week and will be joining the UAE shipowner's fleet shortly.
