New Vessel Registration System for the UK
Oceans HQ, a provider of specialized software to the worldâs Maritime Administrations, has signed an agreement to deliver a new digital Vessel Registration system to the U.K. Maritime and Coastguard Agency. The new digital platform forms a key component of the MCAâs 2016/17 business plan and is critical to its digital strategy which is designed to improve the way it provides a range of services. Oceans HQ has partnered with Thoughtbot London to deliver a modern software solution inspired by its Vessel HQ product, already in operation at a number of Flag States.
Mirage Reports Sales Increase in 2013
Mirage Machines, an Acteon company, received a significant uplift in sales last year due to ongoing targeted online lead generation campaigns. Specialist engineering company Mirage, based in Derby U.K., supply high spec on-site machines to companies around the world, specializing in pipe maintenance and hot tapping equipment for the oil and gas industry. Mirage launched a new website in early 2013 and sought to capitalize on a long standing historical trend of traffic closely correlating with sales.
