Bombora Wraps Up Tank Testing of Floating Hybrid Energy Platform

Canadian Car Ferry to Feature Schottel Propulsion

German propulsion maker Schottel has been awarded a contract to deliver main propulsion units for one car ferry of the Canadian company Western Pacific Maritime.The newly built vessel ordered by the British Columbia Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure will be equipped with four high-efficiency Schottel TwinPropellers (STP). The main propulsion consists of four Schottel TwinPropeller units type STP 150 L (360 kW each), driven by PEM motors. Featuring a propeller diameter of 1.1 meters, the STPs enable a speed of up to 13.5 knots.

Cargotec Secures Order from Dong Energy

A Siwertell ship unloader ensures a highly-efficient, dust-free bulk transfer operation

Cargotec has secured an order for a Siwertell ship unloader from Denmark's power company, Dong Energy; it will ensure a high-capacity unloading of wood pellets and coal for one of the most efficient power stations of its kind. The order is booked into the first quarter order intake.
