Victaulic to Add Manufacturing Space in Pennsylvania

Victaulic, a manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining solutions, has unveiled a plan to build an additional state-of-the-art manufacturing center in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. The 400,000 square foot facility is the result of increased domestic demand for the company’s products. The facility is expected to break ground later this year and be fully operational in 2019. “This new facility will play an important role in meeting increased customer demand, while also producing the highest quality products in the industry -- something our customers have come to expect from us since our first innovation nearly 100 years ago,” said John F. Malloy, CEO of Victaulic.

Three New Lumitec Products to Debut at IBEX

Lumitec, a designer and manufacturer of marine LED lighting solutions, is set to premier three new products at IBEX September 17-19 at booth 2155. Lumitec will also reveal technology updates for some of their most popular lights. Leading the launch is Lumitec’s new Cayman line of spreader/floodlights with a measured output of up to 2,400 lumens, (integrating sphere measurement). The Cayman family offers: dual-color output, Monolithic solid metal construction, dimming, and DeckSweep optical technology.

SEA Wins $5.4m Contract

Systems Engineering Associates Corp. (SEA CORP) has won a $5.4m contract to help replace traditional periscopes on Navy submarines with electro-optical technology. The contract calls for SEA CORP to provide support for Photonics Imaging Systems programs at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport. The work will include program management, administrative support, engineering analysis, problem reporting and correction and integrated logistics support for systems using electro-optic technology that will replace the traditional optical periscopes.
