ZeroNorth Provides Voyage Optimisation Solution to Bulker Owners

Cargill has signed a three-year contract that will see ZeroNorth become Cargill’s primary software provider for optimisation of over 600 vessels. Cargill commenced its strategic partnership with ZeroNorth in 2020. The partnership has expanded over time, with Cargill and ZeroNorth working together to develop ZeroNorth’s fuel model and dry bulk solutions.Eman Abdalla, Global Operations Director for Cargill Ocean Transportation, added: “We are delighted to announce that we’ve chosen ZeroNorth as our vessel and voyage optimisation digital platform.

The provider of smart technologies and complete lifecycle solutions for the marine and energy markets Wärtsilä unveils its new Navi-Planner voyage planning and optimisation solution.Developed by Transas, a Wärtsilä company, the new Navi-Planner makes use of the connected ECDIS. Tidetech to Supply NAPA Ship Tidal Prediction Data

Tidetech and NAPA have agreed the supply of tidal current prediction data for ship optimisation fuel saving, initially for South East Asia and UK–Europe. Tidetech applies the science of oceanography to create data models that benefit commercial shipping – cruise ships, ferries, container ships, tankers – and offshore operations. Imtech Marine to Supplier Infinity to Global Markets

Solution that increases efficiency of ship’s operations fits in Imtech Marine’s life cycle management strategy. A  global maritime company Imtech Marine (Rotterdam) and satellite communications specialist Navarino (Piraeus) have announced a partnership.
