Detained Oil Tanker in Equatorial Guinea to Return to Nigeria

Argeo, a Norwegian autonomous underwater vehicle provider, has signed a 5-year bareboat contract for the vessel Argeo Searcher (former Ocean Pearl), with an option to purchase the vessel for $2 million after 12 months and $1 million after 27 months. Norway's OSM Maritime Buys New Zealand's Kingston Offshore Services

Norway's offshore and maritime services provider OSM Maritime (OSM) has bought New Zealand’s oil and gas and offshore marine service firm Kingston Offshore Services. ADS Maritime Holding Buys Into Equinor-bound Shuttle Tanker Quarter

ADS Maritime Holding has agreed to acquire a 5 % shareholding in AET Sea Shuttle AS and AET Sea Shuttle II AS, the owners of four modern shuttle tankers operating in the North Sea, mainly on long term charters to Equinor. The vessels are Eagle Blane, Eagle Balder, Eagle Bergen, and Eagle Barents. Shuttle tankers are used for the offloading and transporting oil from offshore oil installations.The majority partner in the owning companies will remain major Malaysian tanker owner AET, part of the MISC/Petronas Group. OSM to Supervise Construction of Ocean Infinity's Robotic Vessels in Norway

Maritime and offshore service provider OSM Maritime Group will act as Ocean Infinity's newbuild site supervision partner, for six robotic offshore vessels being built for Ocean Infinity in Norway, for its Armada Fleet.Four vessels will have a length of 21 meters and tow vessels of 36 meters. Oslo-listed ADS Crude Carriers has signed a memorandum of agreement to sell the Very Large Crude Carrier ADS Serenade.ADS said Tuesday the vessel would be sold for $25.5 million. OSM Nears Deal to Acquire SeaTeam

Norway-based ship management company OSM Maritime said Monday that it is nearing a deal to acquire Singapore-headquartered competitor SeaTeam Management from Frontline Ltd and Golden Ocean Group Limited.The acquisition, which is in final negotiations and remains subject to definitive documentation, is expected to be completed within the next 30 days, OSM said.“We look forward to finalizing our agreement with Frontline and Golden Ocean, after engaging in a very constructive dialogue,” said Tommy Olofsen, chair of OSM Maritime.

GC Rieber to Transfer Fleet Management Business to OSM

Norwegian offshore vessel owner and manager GC Rieber Shipping has signed an agreement to transfer its fleet management services business to OSM Maritime Group, and become a pure shipowner.Under the agreement, GC Rieber Shipping will transfer all technical, crewing, and support functions in Bergen to OSM.OSM will establish a new ship management company within the offshore segment in Bergen, who will be owned 100% by OSM and be located together with OSM Bergen.GC Rieber Shipping currently has 6 vessels under management in Bergen, including vessels under third party management.

OSM Inks Deal for VLCC Fleet

OSM Maritime has secured a contract for the full technical management of Hunter Group’s fleet of ECO design SMART VLCCs, currently under construction at DSME in Korea. Hunter Group has eight identical 336m vessels, set to be delivered towards the end of 2019 and into 2020. Leading global ship management company OSM Maritime Group has been awarded full crew management of Lauritzen Kosan’s entire fleet of advanced liquefied gas tankers.
