SCHOTTEL Pumps €45 Million into New Factory

SCHOTTEL, a German manufacturer of marine propulsion systems, has invested a total of €45 million to open a new state-of-the-art Rudderpropeller factory, increasing the company’s production capacity by roughly 30 percent. The factory, near its headquarters in Spay, Germany, was officially opened in the summer of 2015 following a construction period of about two years. It features four production shops (up to 270 meters long and 18 meters high) and a three-storey building for administration, social and technical purposes.

BCP Introduces New Airblast Product Brochure

OSHA Safety concerns call for the use of enclosed blast cleaning. With blast cleaning rooms becoming popular, sound design and engineering precepts are priorities for any blast cleaning equipment manufacturer. BCP, a division of USF Surface Preparation Group, helped to pioneer the design and manufacture of advanced airblast systems for more than half a century. The company has just completed a 12-page product guide that highlights a wide range of custom designed BCP airblast rooms and components including paint booths, recovery floor, room arrangements, and Schmidt abrasive control valves. BCP airblast rooms can be custom designed for any application requirements and are designed to complement existing facilities. Room arrangements can be either Flow-Thru or In-Out.
