British manufacturer of marine windows Solar Solve Marine has won a contract to supply 20 SOLASOLV anti-glare, heat rejecting roller screens screens to the bridge windows of the cruise ship Celebrity Millennium. Celebrity Millennium is owned and operated by Celebrity Cruises - a brand under Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (RCCL) and the second largest cruise line operator in the world. Rederiet Stenersen Orders Solasolv Screens
U.K. based Solar Solve Marine received two orders to supply SOLASOLV class approved roller screens from Stenships KS, a subsidiary of Rederiet Stenersen AS, headquartered in Bergen, Norway. Rederiet Stenersen transports liquid products with 17 chemical/product tankers ranging from 17-19,000 DWT deployed in North West European Trade. In December and January the company placed two orders for the M/T Sten Suomi and M/T Sten Bothnia. Ben-My-Chree Orders SOLASOLV Screens
U.K. based Solar Solve Marine received an order to supply 12 SOLASOLV class approved roller screens to the Ben-My-Chree Ro-Pax ferry. The vessel is owned and operated by Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and operates from Douglas to Heysham. Built by van der Giessen de Nord shipyard in the Netherlands at the cost of £24 million, the ship entered into service in 1998 and can carry 636 passengers and up to 200 vehicles. Solar Solve Secures Contract for Marine Capture Vessel
South Shields based Solar Solve Marine received an order for Solasolv anti-glare, heat rejecting roller screens for the navigation bridge windows of a Marine Capture Vessel (MCV) which is being converted at Drydocks World in Dubai. Solasolv screens are installed at the windows of ships, rigs and cranes of all types and sizes worldwide. They reject up to 87% of heat and up to 93% of glare from the sun. Solar Solve claims that with its product eye-strain is reduced, ensuring computer displays are easier to read, and a clear outward view is maintained for safer operations.
