Knights Offshore Support Takes Delivery of First CTruk OWSV
New business venture Knights Offshore Support (KOS) has taken delivery of its first CTruk 20T MPC offshore wind support vessel, Coastal Knight, which will soon join offshore wind industry service provider CWind’s growing charter fleet. Owner Paul Knight considers CTruk’s multi-role composite cats to be “the vessels of the future” and hopes that the 18.5m Coastal Knight, will be the first of a fleet of KOS workboats to ultimately support offshore wind farm construction and operations around the Scottish coast.
CTruk Signs New Customer at Seawork
Essex-based CTruk said it topped off a busy first day at Seawork International by signing an agreement with a new client, Paul Knight, for their now proven composite 20T multi-purpose catamaran design. Isle of Mull-based Paul started his own shellfish export business at the age of 18 and has always had a head for opportunities. Later adding a commercial fishing arm to PDK Marine, Paul bought his first vessel seven years ago and has owned several since.
