Phoenix Products Company, Inc. announced the SturdiLED Series. The mid-level LED floodlight offers an AC or DC driver with multiple output options ranging from 1,600-2,900 lumens. The two optical packages, 28° and 45°, accommodate a variety of applications including davits, life raft stations, embarkation lighting, deck winch lighting, deck mounted cranes (OSV, PSV), and various other demanding marine applications. Phoenix utilizes marine-grade die cast aluminum housing with a powder coat finish for additional protection against corrosion.

Phoenix Products Company, Inc. launched the instant-on, surface mounted MidLev Series, an LED fixture designed to replace low to mid-level wattage HID floodlights. By utilizing recessed optics, the MidLev Series is able to reduce glare typically associated with LED fixtures. The LED luminaire delivers up to 4,000 lumens and offers up to a 62% energy savings when compared to a 250W HID fixture. Phoenix Products Company, Inc.  launched the Aries Series 16W LED floodlight. The Aries has options on voltage (AC & DC), optics, lens, plug/cord, and finish. Drawing only 16 watts, the Aries replaces quartz halogen fixtures up to 500 watts. Phoenix Products Company, Inc. announced the release of the Metallic LED VP Series of vaporproof fixtures. Aiming to keep the design of traditional “jelly-jar” fixtures, the Metallic LED VP uses a patent pending module to house a Bridgelux LED light source rated for 50,000 hours of illumination. These fixtures are UL 1598A listed for marine, outdoor, saltwater environments; UL 844 listed for hazardous locations; ABS listed; IP66; and LM79 tested and certified. As with any LED fixture, thermal management is the key to protecting the efficiency and long life of the solid state light source.
