Synergi Plant gets New Dashboard

Synergi Plant version 5.2, the latest DNV GL plant integrity software solution, has now been released. It includes a brand new user interface and several new modules including a flexible and powerful KPI and graphics dashboard. “The industry is looking for transparency of asset integrity conditions. With the new Synergi Plant dashboard this has become reality,” says Tommy Tang, Product Manager Plant Integrity Software at DNV GL. “Our brand new dashboard gives unprecedented flexibility and makes Synergi Plant unique in the market. It allows you to build KPIs, data grids, graphics and activity status. You can have individually tailored views, where you can monitor and track your asset integrity status and see the big picture.

DEKRA Acquires NDT, PI & Microscopic Operations of DNV GL

The international expert organisation DEKRA has taken over the Plant Integrity (PI), Non Destructive Testing (NDT) and Microsopy operations from DNV GL (formerly KEMA) and as such is expanding its industrial operations in the Netherlands. A respective purchase agreement was signed by DEKRA and DNV GL on 8th of August 2014. The three units, employing together 24 experts, will be operating under the name DEKRA Material Testing & Inspection (MTI) in the new DEKRA buildings in Arnhem. MTI is concerned with the inspection and testing of capital-intensive and business-critical systems and materials. Customers include a large number of petrochemical, industrial and energy companies.

Forum to Focus on Sand Management

Energy industry professionals will gather in Aberdeen this spring for the sixth European Sand Management Forum. The conference and exhibition, organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Aberdeen Section and the Sand Management Network, will take place at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Center between March 26-27, 2014. The forum will focus on the importance of sand management within the oil and gas industry, addressing its challenges across a range of reservoirs and geographical locations and discussing its use in well and plant integrity.

DNV Launches Synergi RBI Software

Managing onshore and offshore assets has previously demanded multiple risk-based inspection (RBI) software tools, increasing operator cost and reducing efficiency. With the new release of DNV Software’s Synergi Plant, which has integration with Synergi RBI, operators can use one complete quantitative risk assessment system, moving from subjective to objective decision making and from preventive to predictive maintenance. DNV Software is now launching the new Synergi Plant, bringing RBI software to a new level, where integrity management of process plants and offshore topsides can be achieved by one complete and integrated solution through integration with Synergi RBI Onshore and Synergi RBI Offshore.
