Allseas’ heavy lift vessel Pioneering Spirit has completed a removal campaign of processing and accommodation topsides and flare jackets as part of the Tyra Redevelopment Project for Total E&P Denmark. There has been a steady stream of bad news recently in the marine press regarding the health of the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico. McDermott International, Inc. announced that a subsidiary of J.Ray McDermott, S.A. has been awarded a contract by Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited (3) to provide engineering, procurement, construction and installation services for new facilities in Qatar’s North Field, as part of the Phase 2 Offshore Expansion Project.
