Murray Fenton India Scales Another Height

Murray Fenton India, the Technical Services division of Bibby Ship Management (India) Pvt. Ltd, has been appointed by a consortium of banks as “Lenders Independent Engineers” for the ABG Shipyard Project. This project will require the Murray Fenton India team to monitor the construction of vessels, ship lift projects and expenditure at the ABG shipyards - Magdalla and Dahej - as well as oversee financial disbursements to the yard. Acquisition Brings Bibby into Marine Surveying

Bibby Ship Management Group Ltd. announced the acquisition of Murray Fenton (India) Surveyors Limited. The acquisition was made via Bibby Ship Management India Pvt. Ltd., and will see India’s service offering expand into marine, cargo and offshore surveying including marine audit services. Operations will be based in Mumbai and Gujarat, with geographic expansion into other areas of India planned for the future. Bibby Ship Management welcomed Capt. Kapil Dev Bahl. ETC Will Partner With Bibby Maritime in Mumbai

Hamburg - ETC, the MSG MarineServe GmbH operated ‘ECDIS Training Consortium,’ announced that it has reached agreement with the Sir Derek Bibby Maritime Training Center in Mumbai to act as its local partner. MSG will provide its well established ECDIS training course ware, ECDIS training systems and approved Train-the-Trainer courses. In addition, MSG will provide 24/7 certificate authentication and trainee database services for reference by its Partners, Customers, Port State Control and other concerned authorities. The Sir Derek Bibby Maritime Training Center will deliver the training, which is configured on a single training structure and methodology in order to guarantee the quality and consistency of the training.
