Reach Subsea Nets North Sea Decom Gig

Oslo-listed subsea services provider Reach Subsea said Wednesday it had won a decommissioning contract in the North Sea. The contract is with an undisclosed client, and represents around 40 project days for execution in Q1 2023. Reach Subsea will use the Olympic Delta vessel for the project. Financial details were not disclosed.Olympic Delta is a subsea vessel equipped for light IMR and survey work for both the oil and gas and renewables sectors.Reach Subsea has an existing cooperation with Olympic Subsea for Olympic Delta, and the parties have agreed to extend the cooperation for the whole of 2023. Safety Concerns: Norway Inspects Europipe II Subsea Gas Pipeline to Germany

Norway has deployed a specialist vessel to inspect a subsea gas pipeline to Germany because of safety concerns after suspected sabotage last month on two Nord Stream pipelines between Russia and Germany, according to sources and data.Norway, Europe's largest gas supplier, last week put its energy sector on high alert, deploying its navy and air force to patrol offshore facilities and placing soldiers at onshore gas processing plants after the Sept. 26 Nord Stream blasts.The Havila Subsea, an oil service vessel equipped with remotely operated subsea vehicles, was deployed on Oct. 5 to survey the Europipe II pipeline that runs from the Kaarstoe gas plant in Norway to Dornum in Germany, Refinitiv vessel-tracking data shows.

'Major' Oilfield Service Firm Books Solstad Offshore's CSV for South America Work

Norwegian offshore vessel operator Solstad Offshore has won a contract for its construction support vessel Normand Samson.The CSV Normand Samson was chartered by a major oil service firm for a minimum of 350 days, with the possibility to extend for an additional 150 days, according to the company. Solstad did not say who the client was.The contract will start during Q2 2022. "The vessel will be utilized on a field development project in South America," Solstad Offshore said.Built in 2009, the 121,5 meters long Normand Samson can accommodate 100 people aboard.

Topaz Bags Wind Charter

Dubai-based Marine logistics company Topaz Energy and Marine (Topaz) has signed an agreement with a north European contractor for the charter of Topaz's newbuild for offshore wind farms in the North Sea.The contractor will charter Topaz’s newbuild subsea vessel, Topaz Tangaroa, for work on renewable energy projects, primarily in support of offshore wind farms in the southern North Sea. Norway-based Reach Subsea has been awarded a Frame Agreement for Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) services to Statoil Petroleum.The frame agreement has a duration of five years, and commences in 2019.Commercial terms under the agreement are confidential between the parties. Reach Subsea Charters Subsea Vessel Olympic Challenger

Reach Subsea has entered into an agreement with Olympic Subsea for use of the subsea vessel Olympic Challenger for two years, with an option to extend for one year. The commercial terms of the charter agreement are confidential between the parties, but is structured in a way that enables Reach to offer a competitive subsea service to our clients. The vessel already has two ROVs mobilized on board, which Reach will lease initially. Thus, investments associated with this expansionary move are limited at the outset. Reach will mobilize the vessel during April 2018 and use the vessel on own projects within IMR and light construction within the oil and gas and renewables sectors.

Reach Subsea Enters Survey Deal for Edda Fonn

Norwegian owner of offshore inspection vessels Reach Subsea has secured a contract for its Edda Fonn vessel.   According to Reach Subsea, the contract is for an ROV/survey work covering the next 40 days for Edda Fonn. Commencement will be this week. The details in the contract are confidential.   Edda Fonn is a vessel used for IMR, survey and light construction services.  The company claims that Edda Fonn is a high quality, cost effective and flexible vessel for IMR, survey and light construction services.   The vessel has an overall length of 84.7 meters, 18 meters abeam, 700 square meters aft deck and a 7.2×7.2 meters working moonpool. Reach Subsea hired the vessel on a 3-year contract from Ostensjo Rederi in December 2014.

GC Rieber Charter Agreement with Reach Subsea

GC Rieber Shipping ASA has entered into a time charter agreement with Reach Subsea for the CSV Polar King to support Norwegian University for Science and Technology’s (NTNU) scientific operation under the MarMine Project in the mid-Atlantic ridge. The project will deploy ROV, AUV and grabs for seabed mapping and sampling for geological and biological research related to marine mining.
