Regs4ships Surveyors Approved to Rep Malta

On Monday 5 December 2011, Regs4ships Limited Senior Surveyor Mark Robinson and Surveyor Robert Aldous were officially appointed as government ship surveyors for Transport Malta (Maritime). Now officially recognized, Mark and Rob can  conduct flag-in surveys as well as perform flag state inspections and annual surveys for all Maltese registered vessels, regardless of size. Our two experienced flag state surveyors have been, and are continuing to, work with the  Marshall Islands and Cook Islands administrations and are highly adept at helping their clients achieve requirements through a quick, professional and personal service. On Thursday 15 September 2011, local city champions, colleagues and customers joined to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of Regs4ships Limited, a digital maritime organisation based in the heart of Southampton. Regs4ships Updates Services to Comply with STCW Changes

With major changes to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) for Seafarers and Code imminent, Regs4ships Limited has published amendments to their digital maritime regulations service. Fully accepted on July 1, 2011, the Manila amendments agreed to by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and participating member states mark the first complete revision to the mandatory STCW convention and code since it was last updated in 1995. This significant re-write is designed to bring STCW up to date, ensuring that those who go to sea are correctly trained and certified aboard ships throughout the world.
