Boskalis is Exploring Biofuels

Dutch dredging and offshore contractor Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. said it will run its vessels on a biofuel blend while working on a project to install the export cable to the Borssele offshore wind farm.The Borssele Alpha project is being executed on behalf of TenneT and is aimed at connecting the Borssele offshore grid with the Dutch high-voltage grid.During this project, Boskalis will run its vessels on a biofuel blend of up to 30 percent. Asia Fuel Oil: 380-cst cash premium rises 76 percent

The cash premium of the benchmark 380-cst fuel oil grade firmed for the fourth straight session on Wednesday, underpinned by lower supply in the region in early April. The 380-cst cash premium rose 76 percent or close to $1 a tonne to a two-week high of $2.22 a tonne, Reuters data showed. this period has provided some support for the 380-cst market. Around 4.17 million tonnes of fuel oil will arrive in April from the West, of which only an estimated 950,000 tonnes or just 20 percent of the total, will make a landfall in the first 10 days of the month, Reuters reported earlier. McQuilling Appoints Neumiller

McQuilling Services has Chris Neumiller to its consulting team. Neumille joins McQuilling Services as Senior Energy / Shipping Advisor, bringing a deeper knowledge of energy markets to the group. Previously, Neumiller focused on residual products and bunker market developments in the downstream department at JBC Energy based in Vienna, Austria. This position required monitoring refinery economics, trade balances, inventories and the impact of environmental regulations. Prior to the energy market, Neumiller worked internationally in business development and professional training.
